Lotta Bartoschewski: What it is, what it was, what it will be

Lotta Bartoschewski´s publication What it is, what it was , what it will be gives an overview of her artistic practice from 2016 to the present. In her practice she uses a wide range of sculptural processes and materials as techniques of casting, building casting forms and characteristic painting materials as ink or pigments. Most steps for preperatory can´t be seen directly with the completed work but can be found by retracing the process. According to these processes the publication itself is built in layers, playing with negative and positive views and overlapping images. Zooming in and out of images gives the impression of standing next to a sculpture, walking around it, taking a closer look and stepping back for an overview.
